ups is delivering my lyra dorian mono cartridge today. here is a real mono cartridge at an affordable price ($1,110). this is a real mono cartridge.
I am using the Dorian mono and it is quite a experience. Really good sound in combination with those old mono cartridges. Dead silent, very good body (HP would say “Gestalt”) and the tonal colors must be heard to believe.
For me, it is one of those rare bargains of today. Highly recommended for those who want to go a different way.
Btw. that cartridge don’t stop in Performance, the better your gear is, the more you get.
And the DaVinci Arm is a super match for it.
